This is another song I’ve written. The story is inspired by Truman Capote’s ‘Other Voices, Other Rooms’ in which Joel’s cousin Randolph talks about his tragedy when he was younger. Throughout the last few years I’ve had to deal with coming to my sexuality and this book helped me a little because it is about Joel’s coming to terms with his own sexuality. I think it is a dark, powerful but moving story which encompasses many of the varying aspects of homosexuality. I’m coming out this summer when I leave school so it has lot of emotion in it. Barnsy x

Few things will hurt your heart more in this world than to love the wrong person for all the right reasons… but the pain is always lessened between people when we realize that the pain (and joy) of love is a universal language everyone understands. I don’t know how many people can relate to what I’m talking about in this poem, but if you are out there – I hope that this work of mine provides an extra pair of shoulders for you to help carry whatever load you have.

A tale too common this day and age… A factor that negativley impacts societry in more ways then one can imagine. If Kinsey was right and 1 in 7 guys were exclusivley Gay… this may in fact represent more men then we believe.
