I came to this wood in Cheddar, Somerset looking for bluebells. I found a few bluebells but went on to explore the rest of the woods. A little way in I came to this stream which was surrounded by wild garlic. As you can imagine, the smell was quite strong (love it or hate it)!

In Ghandia market there are many sellers of garlic, usually it is the gypsies who sell it . This Spanish guy has gone in for it in a big way.

Man selling huge bulbs of garlic at the local market in the Mirabello area of Milan, Italy. He had some set of lungs on him and we heard him a good 10 stalls down the road, well before we saw him! I’d never seen garlic like this before so it was a nice wee surprise to spot. Taken freehand with Canon 450D & Canon 18-55mm IS Lens – straight from the camera. All profits from sales in 2009 will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support: www.macmillan.org.uk
