I love the detail of the gargoyles on top of Notre Dame. The fact they are so old and have survived so long is a testament to the craftsmen of that time.
My hysterical Devon Rex cat, Maggie. Winter is no fun when you don’t have fur.
Just playing around with moon pix. AlienVistor wrote this poem (how cool!!) / ... At the edge of fright / I wait within / The moons fair glow / On ancient rock / Above bottomless pool / I listen for the cry / That never comes / And the fog rolls in / And darkness falls.
I would like to thank Artist: J.K. York, For letting use his image ( which way do I go ? ) http://www.redbubble.com/people/jkyork/art/436285-2-which-way-do-i-go Thank so much J.K York I love your work.

New American Landscape Gargoyles ugly, dark, and looming; / Overlook the erstwhile blooming landscape, / desolate now, but fresh in memory. Giants in the garden Eden. Gothic, no, Americana, barely eaten; / Taken by surprise and sorely beaten shed / no tear, for fear of giants. Giants in the garden Eden. Whilst whole countries stand by watching; / Giants o’er their landscape trodding, claiming / grain and livestock pools from nature. Giants shade the garden Eden. A single voice wails mad with fury; / Counts backwards, bent, and bleary-eyed; / And yells, “You don’t own nature”! Giants left the garden Eden. / - F.A. A little mix up here… / Taking the girl from my pencil drawing The Tall Grass / / and dropping her against a turned portion of Heliotroped with Tattoo and Guest Poet / / and adding my little friend who sits in the backyard and peeks in from the patio… / (okay, I did take an eye from “The Tall Grass” to give my gargoyle some cool contact lenses) / / and finally, the topper, a photo of an old doll that I have here. Voila. / Le Totem.
Captured this little beast on top of Notre Dame, Paris. There were so many to choose from, but I liked the definition of the muscles and other features in this one. Especially liked his legs and claws. His timid look, to my eyes, made him a little different from his other Gargoyle friends.. This is a building at the end of Rundle St Mall in the Adelaide CBD, Australia. I found the style to be so close to that of many neo gothic buildings in America, as seen in thousands of movies etc. I decided on a slightly ominous mood for this one, daytime darkness. Added two textures to give the feel of an old picture or movie still, taken from a magazine. I think this has a slight New York feel to it. That may or may not be due to the fact that every ominous disaster film is set there :) Canon 50D / 58mm, 18 – 55 Textures taken from www.deviantart.com free use stock. MCN: C4EY3-171U2-BRF4J
Definition. Medieval ‘grotesques’ (also called ‘gargoyles’), are frequently made of stone, imaginatively sculpted in the form of devils. For my darling brother, who should know better than to pull out his false front tooth and make faces whilst I have a camera in hand and Photoshop at the ready. I love you :-D

He runs wild in my inner sanctum / I can feel him fleeting thru my veins / Sitting on the perch of my heart / Howls echo thru my diaphram / And fall victim to my rib cage / He runs wild in my inner sanctum… / He is the maverick / Which is my soul / He is wolf / He is I / He shares the same footprints / Sweat & tears …as I / The same skin that wraps around / The same twisted bones and aching muscles / And package the same undying heart / That like he / Howls a undying howl / That he wishes ....will one day be heard….. The wolf is like a mirror image of my soul….this is my favorite of the animal kingdom….for so many reasons…..He’s the reason why I have a huge affinity to long hair dogs that resemble him. Thats why I have an American Eskimo and Siberian Husky. / ...lol I sometimes imagine myself as a werewolf leaping fanciful leaps from rooftop to rooftop ….limb to limb in the attics of the forest / And taken my anger out on an abandon area …feeling like Wolverine or Goliath from (gargolyes) Charcoal / Hard pastels / on recycled paper My inspiration for finding the monster within me …a true classic (in my book)...smilez / “AND WE LIVE AGAIN”....that roar is sensational!!! /
