I took this shot while out with some other photographers on Observation Hill. It was a beautiful night and have some lovely colourful sun set shots in my portfolio but this one works better in black and white. I’m amazed at how long bark like this clings to a tree. But it does sometimes leave amazing shapes and patterns behind. Peter Hill and I visited the Botanical Gardens in Sydney on Sunday for some photography. I wanted to show this path from….well, a ducks point of view when lo and behold who should just waddle straight through shot, Mr duck and friends. This one was bringing up the rear. Didn’t quite catch it in the line of focus but I quite like the way it blends in as it does.
