No idea what kind of duck it is, only that it is gorgeous! Hope the photograph does it justice. This duck was photographed in Mossbank Park, the little animal sanctuary. CARD /

Knitto Pinko submitted her resignation as head knitter to Farmer O’MacDonald a year ago. She decided that she no longer wanted to knit designs that she was in the least passionate about. Her dream was to have her own shop of knitwear, designed by her with 100% wool.Knowing her dream extended beyond the boundaries of this farm which she had grown so familiar with, she took on the challenges that awaited her outside nevertheless. There was no turning back since. Here she is…focusing so intently on this lovely pink knitwear for her new shop, Knitty Gritties :D /
I packed a thermos, phoned a friend and spent a beautiful spring day at Araluen Botanical Gardens in Roleystone. Every year thousands of tulip bulbs are planted and each year the show of flowers is brilliant. These are the best shots of the days, I hope you like them.

Have searched websites trying to find the correct name for this flower – it is not a Clematis, it is not a Scabiosa – all suggestions welcome!! A bit of experimentation in CS3 led to this result. Ten months ago I took and processed a flower from the same bush very differently Landscapes Trees Cards EOD Rusty Flowers Architecture Macro CatchAll DM

Taken at the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens, Sherbrooke, Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. This tree stands alone on a small island in an ornamental man made lake. Shot with a Nikon D200, 7 shot HDR, processed with Photomatix, adjustments made in Photoshop. BEST VIEWED LARGER
I was lucky enough today to have the time to get back out to this magic place, and just at the right time too when all the leaves have turned but not yet fallen from the trees. The last time I went there (exactly a month earlier) they were replacing the bridges between the islands so I couldn’t get to the best spot, and even though they are still working on the bridges, I did what any good photographer would do and jumped the barriers anyway. Taken at the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens, Dandenong Ranges NP, Victoria. Shot with a Nikon D200, 12-24mm lens at 20mm, F/16, 100 ISO. 7 shot HDR. Tone mapped in Photomatix, other adjustments in Photoshop. BEST VIEWED LARGER
Taken at the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens, Dandenong Ranges NP, Victoria. This tree stands alone on a small island in an ornamental man made lake. I shot this tree exactly one month ago, and I had to revisit it now that we’re further into autumn. I’ve tried to get the composition as close to the original as possible. The difference one month makes is quite astonishing! Shot with a Nikon D200, 7 shot HDR, processed with Photomatix, adjustments made in Photoshop. BEST VIEWED LARGER. I thought that I would get some photos of the flowers in August bloom and I wasn’t disappointed.
