The view I have from my bedroom’s window.It’s beautiful in summer times too with all the flowers.I add a little japanese bridge to walk over the spring’s flow.It’s the second snowfall we have ,it’s white everywhere.I ‘m gone put that pic. in the «passion» group because my garden is a part of my soul.I took off big roots and heavy stones all over arround the house,bought , I don’t know how many trip of soil to fill up my shadow garden.I’ve worked for three years and It’s not finished yet. .All my friends thought I was crasy …well,maybe a little.You will see more of it in summer time. / I know it looks like a B&W photo because of all the snow but it’s not.

Title thanks to my husband… I was stumped and when I asked my husband for a suggestion for the title he said the daisies were natures beauty and shone amongst a gloomy winters day, which to him is the essence of winter. Most of the leaves in my back garden are brown and dead, and though they make fantastic subjects with the frost on them, I spotted this little group of autumn coloured leaves with the frost dancing on the top, like a glistening party in the few rays of light coming through the thick clouds that hung over me in the sky. “Beautyberry” is part of the Winter collection…”Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldii, Beautyberry is a gorgeous shrub that can grow to 10 ft. tall…it’s has lovely flowers in late summer, but in the autumn incredible jewel like amethyst coloured berries appear, that stay on till winter finally sets in…I plant lots of dfferent shrubs with berries in my garden so there is always a show even when the all the leaves are gone.. / I added touches of frost to the leaves, which often happens in late fall Watercolour on Fabriano Not Paper See more of the Winter/Christmas Collection / HERE
