These steps were taken in the Alfred Nicholas Gardens, the Dandenongs, Victoria, Australia. Where do they lead to? Some PS work done to enhance the contrast and colours. This was taken with a Canon DLSR EOS 350D camera. The many linking paths through this garden take you beneath a canopy of the stunning mountain ash trees of the Dandenong Ranges. The garden was part of the historic Burnham Beeches Estate, home of Alfred Nicholas, developer of the Aspro formula. So happy that I sold a small framed print with mocha frame to my sister, Nadia, today. This was bought on redbubble using vouchers that she gave to her sister-in-law, Marta, for her birthday. Thankyou very much Nadia and Marta.

I don’t often see monarch butterflies, so when I spotted this one at Hodges Gardens near Many, Louisiana, I employed my husband’s help in trying to get a good shot at it. Tommy stood guard at the upper level of the butterfly garden while I posted myself in the lower portion. Thanks to my husband’s keen eye, I finally relocated the elusive flutterer and got this photo of it to which I’ve applied some PS filters.

Ancient Bridge Cottage in the delightful old world village of Buckland-in-the-Moor in Devon’s Dartmoor National Park after a recent complete no expense spared refurbishment, including a new thatched roof sits in a beautiful natural woodland garden. I am sure many the romantics amongst us have dreams of living in a character filled chocolate box cottage like this, I know I certainly would.
