Me and my daughter Melanie in her teens, battling it out. Took the shot myself with the camera on self timer. Just told her to yell as loud as she could. It was scary how natural this came to her. Raising a daughter, especially through her teens, is about as emotionally draining as it gets. I knew support groups were available, but I opted for the mental scars… time will tell if that was the right path!!

Taken with a Nikon D70s Going through some old photos and came across this one. I found it interesting the different forms of ‘transportation’ there was between these two generations. This was taken in Granada, Nicaragua.

I appreciate you taking time to view my work, and I really enjoy reading your comments. / Thanks for visiting :-) After shooting sunrises and sunsets in the Grampians with Neil and Lee, we finally got some clouds in the sky…well these were in the sky if you were in the valley, but high up on Boroka lookout, we were way above the rolling clouds. / ....it was such an amazing site. We met a lovely couple at the lookout having breakfast, who were visiting from England to introduce their newborn to the grandparents…just a magic place to have breakfast.

The Gap of Dunloe (County Kerry, Ireland) is one of the most beautiful glaciated valleys in the world. Beginning at Kate Kearneys cottage it extends for 7 miles with the Macgillycuddy reeks mountain range on one side and the Purple mountains on the other. There are 5 small beautiful lakes along the route of the Gap and an old arch bridge called the ‘Wishing Bridge’

The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area in northeastern Pennsylvania boasts many beautiful streams and waterfalls. This stream, in the Childs Park Recreation Area above Fulmer Falls happened to catch my eye, captured in full springtime flow. Rausch Gap became a ghost town after the closing of the mine and transfer of businesses to Pine Grove in the late 1800’s. The old railroad is now a beautiful country road that is very popular for hiking and biking and runs from Goldmine Road (near Tower City) to Dauphin, PA.
