A street photography shot of urban art on an East London street in 2007
A street photography shot taken in East London 2007. I went back there recently and this image has been completely painted over. I’m glad I was able to capture what was a brief yet beautiful scene that has now gone forever
Candid street photography taken in London, 2008. Another interesting piece of street art… artist unknown. For more Urban Street Art by Redtempa click here

The ship I show you here is absolutely unique in the world: “La Liberté” (The Liberty”) is the unique galley in the world to navigate, classified as the biggest existing sailing boat on European lakes. This galley has been built by approx. 600 unemployed people, over a period of 5 years. Entirely reconstituted after existing plans from the 17th century, completely of wood, its dimensions are imposing: Overall length: 55 meters / Width: 8,9 m / Draft: 2,2 m / Weight: 190 tons / 2 masts: 20 and 24 meters / Lugsails: 500m2 / 36 rudders of 12 meters, for 3 oarsmen each (imagine the galley slaves!) / 2×150 HP motors / 120 passengers / Speed: with oarsmen 3 -5 km/h / With sails 10 – 15 km/h / With motors 20 km/h Taken with Nikon D50, Sigma lens 70-300 mm / Focal length 195 mm, 1/250 sec., f/5.0 Featured in the “Nautical” group.*
Fire in the Galley / This photo manipulation reminds me of the show, “Hell’s Kitchen”. You are either “Smokin” or “Fired”.
I’ve never kept a traditional written diary…I tried, but maybe it’s because my attention span is limited to a few minutes before I get bored and my mind flies off into the clouds. Then I realised being a photographer I was capturing my life in a different way… the people, places and things I’ve been inspired by during my short time on this planet. This is a collection of those images…a memory download if you will
