Ok.. Being tied into the horse community I know that Arabian usually have a hard time gaining weight especially after they get old. Well I am here to prove them wrong.. Lol… yup thats me,, got to make my point.. Here is my sweet Magic Appalossa/Arabian Mix 38 years old.. He is fat as can be after this summer. He needs to go on a deit,, The rats tried to help him by eating his food but we had to get rid of them becasue of them carrying diseases. Statues of children are not uncommon in 19th century cemeteries.By the mid 19th century many people were moving to the cities,which created a situation of overcrowding,which,in turn,allowed for indecent housing and contaminated water supplies.In addition,poverty and hunger allowed diseases to thrive.The lack of child labor laws and unclean work places allowed diseases,such as,scarlet fever,typhoid,tuberculosis,and diphtheria,to effect many families.Even though the human body had been greatly studied,medicine was still coming out of the dark ages.It would not be until the 20th century that medicine would be advanced enough to manage public health concerns. / This photograph is dedicated to the memory of Lillian Gaines,who was born on December 17,1868 and died April 29,1876.I do not know the exact cause of death,however,Lillian is one of many children buried at Old Gray cemetery from that period.You will always be remembered and love Lillian. / /

I figured it was about time to get a zombie t-shirt in my portfolio, so voila! Man, I spent all day on this sucker. Like… 8 hours? Maybe more. It was nuts! But I was having a good time! This fisherman has been collecting shells during low tide. He has to carry his gains to the shore before high tide when the sun sets. Shots taken at Lau Fau Shan, Hong Kong. Lau Fau Shan (traditional Chinese: 流浮山 ‘old Fau mountain’) is an area in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It is at the shore of Deep Bay, near Tin Shui Wai and facing Shekou in Shenzhen. It is famous for fresh oysters.

Decided to make my way through this old house located in NC. I am glad I did I almost missed this picture and I saw these curtains and I was amazed with the sun shining on them. At the bottom of this house you cannot walk upstairs so I decided to walk outside to where the top of the house was and got lucky got inside the house upstairs came across an old record player but what really caught me was these curtains! It’s neat how when you capture light you can pick up faces I seem to always get lucky on this matter. Took 4 dif pics and in each pic there is dif faces…

Two adjacent storefronts in Dawson City, in Canada’s Klondike gold rush region, caught my eye a few minutes after I arrived there last year. I was probably 65-70 metres away, because I was walking along the banks of the historic river. But I had two cameras around my neck, one with my 18-125mm lens and the other with my 70-300mm lens, so I was able to compose a really tight frame from where I stood. It might look as if these are two separate images “stitched” together electronically – but it’s one image, simply depicting two different styles, cheek by jowl. I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K200D with a Sigma 70-300mm lens. F8, 1/350 sec, ISO 400, focal length 300mm.
