I adore the Hong Kong cityscape – there are these awesome buildings that are literally stacked against eachother, each building with its own intricate building block formation, stacked upon itself, interconnecting and forming the huge picture that is the Hong Kong cityscape. The use of repetition is expansive and seems to go on forever – gotta love that! There is also this futuristic component that exists in the architecture as well as industry poking through. Mmmmm industry….

I was out with one of my students the other night. We were on our way to the top of the NS Building and found this view from the 13th Floor. The borders top and bottom are actually the window-surrounds. I shot this at about f/7.1 for 2seconds, lens-hood removed, lens flat against the window with my weight pushing against it to brace it still. No tripod? Just improvise! Nikon D300 / Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8
Gather what you will from this.. but yes, I did intend for this to look like magical sperm. Haha, it just sort of happened when I was staring at a light bulb and noticed the little spring inside… so I knew I had to do something with that. :D
A fanciful depiction of the psyche of a Replicant, which has the form of a human, yet the soul of blasphemous creation, a Golem, a Frankenstein, a tormented being, anxious and deranged, knowing its time is short and its end inevitable. The spider patterning exudes the replicant’s un-empathic nature, the thing that separates them from humans. If you haven’t, check out Philip K. Dick’s Novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. It is brilliant. See also:
“I saw her leave her apartment, easy on the eyes, all right, and all the right curves in all the right places, and she spotted me; she’s still steamed about being protected, they all are until they really need it. Even so, she put a little extra shimmy in her walk – reminded me of two kittens wrestling under a blanket – on this case the clues were getting harder to find than a black candle at midnight…” / (this whole scene came from a phrase I read somewhere ages ago, the kittens wrestling isn’t mine, and grew into this image…)
She comes from 2047. It is a place where lost memories are stored and andriods work hard day and night to preserve the beauty of these memories. Sonia faithfully takes care of a boy’s memories and as time passes, she develops feelings for him. The boy had a pink owl toy which he once loved and lost. Not wanting the boy to forget about this chapter of his life, Sonia is determined to seek him out and return him his lost memories. / / You can view and purchase more of “Sonia 2047” creations at my Zazzle Gallery:

This is what gas station attendants will (hopefully) look like in the future! A pinup in the future? We were on our way home from an event we were set-up at and we stopped for gas at around 5 AM & I took some pictures of my wife filling up the tank. I used one of them to make this!
This is a painting I did a couple of years ago which has been photoshopped. / Apologies for nothing new forthcoming..my mojo still is missing!
