Design for tiles. / This was designed for a competition sponsored by Swarovski, the Austrian crystal manufacturer. The brief was to design tiles using Swarovski crystals. / I took inspiration from the movie The Matrix and used the crystals on matte black tiles to portray imagery inspired by the movie. / Although the design did not win the competition, it was exhibited at the 100% Design exhibition in London, 2004 and was published by Swarovski in a catalogue which accompanied the exhibition. / Image and design © Graeme Hindmarsh 2004.
