‘Dog’ is a wild cat, discovered in the rugged high country of Canterbury, New Zealand. Here, wild cats are considered a major threat to native bird life, and it is encouraged to destroy them if found. / Being an animal lover, keen hunter and wilderness explorer, as well as an environmentalist, I understand this, but then Dog came into my life. / My partner’s family has recently secured a homestead in the Canterbury high country which has been transformed through combined efforts from all connected into a hunting lodge, ‘HuntFish New Zealand Homestead’. / This now serves as a complement to their already establised Marlborough based business, HuntFish New Zealand (on the web: www.huntfish.co.nz). / One particular time in the renovation process, my partner was down there helping out. / Somehow he and his father discovered a nest of wild cats near the homestead. / TBC….

This is Tully….He is now living with us. We are fostering him and his sister Talia until they get their last shots in two weeks. They are 10 weeks old right now and after their shots, we are adopting the two of them from our local Humane Society. :) / / Tully is a pistol.. He does love to play and jump around…lol His eyes are bigger than he is….Sometimes he looks so funny…. / We are enjoying them loads. / / / / / / / / / /

Today I had the opportunity to take photos of someones new little calico persian kitten. :) This customer saw my photos of Paris and contaced me and wanted me to take photos of her new kitten. I was so honored and so excited. This is one of the many photos that will be shown to the new owner. Just an adorable little girl. 6 1/2 weeks old. What a little beauty. :) I sure hope the customer will be pleased with the photos…:)
