This artwork was originally a painting i created, 75×100cm, although she had light brown hair and was no where near as smoky as this little hussybag!!! I jazzed up her photo in photoshop and she came out like this. One of my favourite pieces of artwork i’ve ever created, although i do wish i painted her like this in the first place, just so she could hang on my wall and remind me that i really do love to paint.

This is for the happy challenge / . / Rate yourself on a scale from 1-10 (1 being seriously depressed, 10 being the happiest) and then create self-portrait expressing that state. / . / I started with this photograph / . / / . / Then printed it out, painted and used sharpie and photographed it again and played some more in gimp lol why ? IDK I look so creepy …...............A rate of 7 out of 10 in happiness :)

Something a little different….original image was of tree brances and crow….added two texture layers….first layer was of paint dripping down the wall and second was of concrete. Original image taken at Skaha Lake, Penticton BC.

It’s a sad and dreary day….so I decided to pull out some of my paintings and post them. I altered the colour a little bit on this one and had to crop it a bit…..orginal is acrylic on canvas. I prepped the canvas of this one quite a bit as well to add some texture to the painting. Thanks for looking :)
