Recently we did a test shoot for two really funny and crazy guys who also happen to make music together, Jase and Tom after their manager aeris saw my stuff on RedBubble and decided I am shit hot at what I do. (I’m working on the modesty bit, I swear.) Anyway they really really didn’t want to do a photo shoot in a smelly, public, and damp mens’ toilet so naturally I nagged at them until they relented. Then the first thing their manager said upon viewing this image was “That one’s for RedBubble!” So here it is.

This took a while – extremely enjoyable and relaxing. In fact I may just do another in this theme. There is no background colour so by changing the colour of the tee it will give the frog a different look. This was an experiment with objects and how light bounces off of them. I found this spring and put a few seed beads on it which gave off a weird bokeh effect when placed on a CD. I used my sigma macro lens and the flash on my camera… More experimenting to come though! Enjoy!

Third in the series… three drops.. nothing too special. I shall explain the crazy set-up for this one… I had the tiny green spring (which was strung with seed beads) resting on a CD with a shiny gift bow as the background. I used a syringe to place the water drops and used my flash as well. Haha, it makes sense to me! Enjoy!
