  • Okay… I know it’s a silly title. I’m still playing with my old techniques and the Van Gogh styles. I thought I would try one from scratch and see how it turned out. I have always loved those thick strokes and patches of color. The deep sunflower yellows, his olive greens and rusty red tones. I loved his outlining… because he could and they were what helped to make his images so intense. I may have to stop boring everyone with these and move on to other styles. ;o) Created in Photoshop using a myriad of natural media brushes and multiple layers to achieve the thick oil look and rich colors. I have been experimenting with different ways to present these. Featured in: / Experimental Dec 2009
