Introducing, Winter Fun – Hot Chocolate! XD / Am dedicating this to ALL my friends in AU and to Everyone in RB!! =D if i remember correctly, winter’s coming soon, right? Or is it winter already? / i went to Sydney last june, and it’s winter.. i really miss the cool weather there.. don’t miss the frostbites tho.. and i think it’s most fun to have hot chocolate on a cold weather.. actually i think ice cream’s the most fun.. hot chocolate comes second.. lolz!! Harley was catching snowflakes on his tongue today. If you look closely, you can see some on his tongue. Harley is now eight years old. We adopted him when he was six years old. He is a golden retriever/australian sheperd mix, with some chow. When we see Harley being lighthearted like this, we can see the dog he was meant to be. Harley does have some bagged from when he was in a shelter all those years, but who cares - WE LOVE HIM for who he is, inspite of past hangups! WE WORK THROUGH BAGGAGE! If you couldn’t tell I like bubbles and water… I was playing around with fizzy water the other day in a tiny cup and I got this weird effect with the water. The little portion in the corner blurred mysteriously or exploded. I thought it looked cool though. I placed blue metallic paper under the glass and used my sigma 105mm macro lens and flash. Enjoy!

I have created this for the Winter Whimsy Challenge which is in the enchanting Animal Fantasy and Whimsy Group. The challenge called for a creative portrayal of animals in the winter. I have so enjoyed creating this one. Whenever I make composites of animals it always makes me smile and feel incredibly happy. I chose the polar bears because I thought it would be fun to try and develop an image using largely white as the dominant colour (and I also thought that we would be seeing a great many reindeers in the coming month!) The image was created totally in Photoshop CS4. The background was my own photo.
