This piece was a drawing done in ink. It was originally for a dinner party invite and when I saw how nice the sketch came out I used it for prints! It has been digitally enhanced with color and text. The words are in Italian and loosely mean “Dinner Party” with the time and date. / This print is available as a greeting card or a canvas print…both of which you can frame easily! Thanks for looking! This is a print of the original piece entitled “I will wait for you here” / It was hand drawn with ink and digitally altered with color and texture. The background is old fabric that was scanned and copied into the print. I absolutely adore this piece. It shoots me right back to fifth grade when my best friend had her dad build us a swing in the woods. I used to swing for hours looking up at the birds…and wait. Im not sure what I was waiting for back then…but it didnt matter, I was happiest there. Meet Mo. He is a little squirrel who loves the quiet of the darkness. He loves making wishes and shooting them into the sky towards the twinkling stars! Will his wishes all come true? so i love this photo. / can’t take credit though! this was taken by miss ashley nixon! [but edited by me] / shes in the reflection [obviously] and well…thats my face haha. she was my client but now shes a sweet friend to have! shes always motivated to be doing new things and just loves her camera now that she knows how to use it! haha And it was good just to go around town and take random photos .. In the land of the Water Balloon People, Joe realized the instant the spikey plant was thrown that this would be his last practical joke.
by redtreeAfter a few miss timed shots, I was amazed at how straight forward photographing popping water balloons were. I only got wet once. Although I couldn’t see them, I could hear my neighbours laughing when I spent 30 minutes jumping up and down to get the right body and clothing shape. The rest is lots of fiddling in photoshop. I hope you like it. Greeting Cards / Framed Print / All shots were taken with a Canon 5D, 24-70mm at 57mm, f/16, 1/125 sec, ISO 100. No filters used. Studio Lights set to 1/32. / We stopped by Minter Gardens on our way home from our roadtrip to Harrison BC in October…..I took a couple of photographs before I realized that the garden was actually closed to the public and we were not supposed to be there (oops). The original photograph was taken using the pop art filter in camera, which made the colour looks quite psychedelic . I have added several texture layers and have desaturated the colours a bit (believe it or not). I realize this won’t appeal to everyone, but as a lover of strong and bold colour I am kind of partial to it :))
