“Der Berg ruft” (1938) is the title of a film by mountaineering pioneer Luis Trenker (yeah, we share the name). / The meaning is more or less “the mountains are calling” and the film is about mountain climbing and alpine skiing in the first place Nowadays, this set phrase is pretty popular among tourists coming to Austria for skiing – mainly used by people who don’t really know how to ski, however! so the t-shirt design reads / the mountains are calling – move away (actually “piss off”)

My grandson visited with us for a couple of weeks, and we had such fun boat riding. It was his first ride in a pontoon boat, and he loved sitting at the rear of the boat to watch the wake created by the motor’s action in the water. Taken with a Nikon 14-24 mm wide angle lens; Nikon D700 camera.

This is one of the older signs of Fenway Stadium showing off the beauty of Boston with it’s old brick buildings and huge fronts with elaborate signs on top… Along this are flags signifiying the years of Red Sox wins whether championships or getting there to the championships world series..
