An impromtu portrait. I noticed Kieran and Brooke play fighting on my bed. The light was good, I raced for my trusty Olympus DSLR, came back, asked them to freeze, look at me and this is the resultant image with just a little enhancement in Photoshop.

This was taken at my friends surprise party in her garden. The wind kept coming up and blowing out the candles. / It was such a special night to be remebered with my best friends. It alwyas makes me smile when I look at this picture and all the good memories that flood back.
Na Boo, a Black Lahu girl plays with her sister in a rolled woven bamboo mat. In the hills of northern Thailand, hilltribe children play with their imagination and any object that looks like fun. Her village is close to the Burma border, in a once remote region, far from a road. Taken in 1979 with a Nikon FM2, kodachrome slide film.
