Looking through the bus window on the way home, I see this playful movement of light and dark shades, between leaves and branches. It is a moment to be captured. Real image with no additional painting… The light painted it on my camera’s ccd sensor! I have set the camera on manual zoom, manual speed and aperture, so that the motion can be capture on shutter release. Behind the glass window of a moving bus, I hunt for the right angle of sun and the right tree, and follow throught the target like taking an image of a sport player. All about timing and a bit of luck! Love to see critiques and comments. All welcome. Acrylic On Canvas Concept: Ophelia having some solitude, she’s meditating on what love is all about…love between lovers, between friends, between parents and children, between teacher and students, between owners and their pets and etc….the greatest love is when one is willing to lay down his/her life(others-seeking and not self-seeking) for another person whom he/she loves. While painting this, it also reminds me of a famous chinese love tale, “The Butterfly Lovers”....thus a pair of butterflies. It is a tragic tale about how a couple could only find their love bliss after they pass on and both became butterflies.I’m contented to have found my bliss :D View my other “Love Meditations” creations at my Zazzle store:

In life as well as fishing it’s all about the journey! / As the sunrise burned through the fog early Sunday morning, on Clear Lake near Hunstville, Ontario, two fishermen enthusiastically set out for their favourite fishing spot… / This shot was as a result of an early morning walk in / August 2008 in the fog: part planning, part serendipity. so i love this photo. / can’t take credit though! this was taken by miss ashley nixon! [but edited by me] / shes in the reflection [obviously] and well…thats my face haha. she was my client but now shes a sweet friend to have! shes always motivated to be doing new things and just loves her camera now that she knows how to use it! haha And it was good just to go around town and take random photos .. I don’t do it nearly enough and I really should.. I mean I love what I do, don’t get me wrong.. but its nice to just take pics for my own sake for once.. Love It.
