I honestly cannot remember when this photo was taken but I would think about 1997. We were down in Thurles to watch Dublin play Gaelic football against god knows who. Anyway despite our best support and the teams best effort, we lost. The atmosphere between the fans and the locals afterwards was absolutely brilliant. A huge party erupted in the centre of Thurles and the Dubs had as good a time as the winners, from Clare or Tipp or Cork or wherever they were from. / The connection between these strangers was probably based on the idea of sharing but not letting go of the bottle. A trust thing but who knows?

WILD & FREE / / This was the first Bengal Tiger we saw on our India trip, just a shame it was asleep! We did get to a ride on an elephant to get there though, which was fun, but the getting on and off with all your camera bits is not so much fun! / / (Bandhavgarh National Park – India) / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /

Grandchildren are our sunflowers; they brighten our days and scatter seeds of new life just when we need to see the world with fresh eyes.
This miniature rose had strong lines and edges, and I decided to play with that to enhance the image. The end result is an image that is fun, playful, and a little funky.
This is what happens when little girls get hold of tubs of flour. My sister and her friends had been playing a game with the flour until one of them dumped a tub on another, then a fight ensued, was fun to watch! (12yrs) I just love Dr. Seuss, if you want a simple word of advice, look him up… I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life’s realities Dr. Seuss
These are my littlest darlings…(from left to right) Mila (2), Grace (6), Hudson (4), Reilly (10 months) and Tane (8). The older four kids were out, so what’s a mom to do but indulge herself and take yet some more photos of her kids while we all play in the garden… This IS my job, and I LOVE it.
