This is once again my sister and her horse doing what they love doing most… When I took this photo Kym was on her horse everyday, she has eased off a little since school started again. / Biscuit (the mare) has a fear of men, when she came to us she was skinny and no very friendly. It took Kym a short while to gain her trust and now she can do anything with Biscuit. She’s now a healthy weight, but still doesn’t like men though, we are still working on that.

Sales of this Design? – 4 sales so far :) / We have an Angel’s Beach here where I live, and I like the play on words with this image…..in all her glory and thunder thighs…..my own angel to share with you Angel is a mixed media production, which has been digitally enhanced in Photoshop (from the Beach Series)
This is my horse Jack. He was born at my farm while I was taking care of a neighbor’s mare and the mare rejected him. I stayed up nights keeping him alive with a bottle and my husband assured me I wasn’t going to get “jack shit” for all my efforts. So “JACK” was his name. Well, Jack the horse thinks he is human now (early imprinting and all that) and thinks he lives in our garage instead of our barn, opens gates and doors as easily as a human, and stares into the windows of our house at the most inopportune times. / You really can’t imagine what it is like to step out of the shower in the morning and see this big lug staring in the window at you! Worse yet, try explaining to your friends why your horse comes to the living room picture window and stares in at the t.v. while you are trying to watch a movie. The mail carrier isn’t afraid of my German Shepherd’s. He’s afraid of my horse who will come and stand right next to his door so he can’t even get out to deliver my mail! / He’s worthless as a horse. Everytime I try to ride him he is completely appalled and practically falls over trying to look at me up on his back. I suppose its my own fault. When he was a baby he was so much fun… pulling my clothes off the clothes line… chasing after my kids like a puppy dog… following them in the house after school….. / yes, Jack is a bad horse. But he sure did teach us that some of the best relationships are free of all those old expectations (like fences, and bridles, and the staying out of the neighbors orchard!)
Little Boat and his friend the lovely White Horse are having fun on the lily pond as the sun comes out and starts to warm up the day for these happy friends…

Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Mailboxes with Character Finally finished my series!! Hope you enjoy viewing these fun “Mailboxes with Character!!” :-)
This calender consists of a series of ongoing portraits created through the process of stepping out of my own way and allowing collected imagery symbols mixed media and intuition to BECOME! Once upon a time…... I planned my art by doing a sketch or having an idea….at least a place to start. And once upon a time I realized there was more that needed expressing than my underused brain could imagine….and I have a GOOD imagination. This intuitive way of working was a necessary step in my own evolution as artist and being….to relinquish control….to learn to listen to my inner guide or higher self. I came to find during this exercise that ‘what I was asked to put on canvas’ seemed to make no sense at all …...just strange little pieces from nowhere…or so I thought yet as I was living my life I realized that it made no sense either. I concluded that this no sense or nonsense I was creating through my judgment actually reflects the innate sense we come from and all have,,,,THE BIG SENSE….....a sense beyond …....and so I trust this way of working more than I trust my way of working! LOL Enjoy IN JOY in whatever sense you can.
Fred and Sally enjoying life together.
A boarded horse at my friend’s ranch that was soooooo much fun to meet! He would pose for me & when I would ask him to show me his teeth he would ~ every time! It was hilarious! As it turned out almost every horse boarded there showed me their teeth when I asked! I was crying by the time I had to leave!
