  • Anyone whom knows me, will probably tell have at least one story to share. Most are embellished and almost all are completely true. I just wish I was there for 90% of parting, and etc. People should tell you that I am completely urban. I feed off the power and energy of “The City”. I also love to travel and leave Chicago, whenever possible. You know see the world and other cultures, become humble, learn, open my eyes to new dynamics. / Now, herein lies the quandary. The leaving part can be quite time consuming. cannonEOS D1 / Mark III / 28-105 / 1250 iso / no flash / -1 ex

  • Car fumes in a narrow street in Florence, Italy

  • City people. We do love to boast, brag, and babble about never be able to leave our little piece of cement heaven. Guilty as charged. I now, am able to admit one reason why we “just won’t leave”. Put simply, LOOK AT THAT TRAFFIC. We’re not going any where. Not for at least an hour and a half any way. The only place we are going to is / the fu—in back of the next license plate. Meet you at the next plate in 10 minutes.

  • This one is a bit older than some of the stuff I’ve put up here so far. It was done a couple of years ago for a book titled “The Big Coat.” (Not exactly my best writing.) Despite the story not exactly standing the test of time I think this piece still holds up fairly well. No? Okay, maybe not, but could you at least pretend that it’s fantastic? Pretty please? Pretty please with sugar on top? Pretty please with sugar and a fresh, crisp new fifty dollar bill on top?

  • Another older piece. Don’t ask me what it’s supposed to mean, because I don’t have anything resembling an answer. While uploading some of my older work recently I noticed that a lot of the stuff I made during my “marker-crazy” period makes very little sense. Do you think it has something to do with the marker fumes?
