This was taken off the last full moon, right after the eclipse.

Sometimes even mistakes can turn out right. Here I woke up really early, way too early as I misjudged the time for a sunrise. So for an hour or so I was just waiting for the light. As the moon descended this opportunity arouse. This shot is taken at a point where on one side of the beach you can see east and watch the sunrise and basically just turn around and face west and watch the moon set. At this point the resort was abandoned, hence the chair. I only moved it slightly to improve the composition. I found this beautiful patch of lilies outside of the local / prison. It was ironic to see the barbed wire fence just beyond them in the distance. Made me terribly grateful to be standing at that spot-at that moment.. / / / >Featured< in United States / / / Laminated Print / / Framed Print / / /

This was inspired by an online bumpersticker I saw… I reworded the phrase though and changed the random object. Might make more, depending on how well this one is recieved. / . / I had some requests of a portrait shot of my photo entitled “Luna over Luna Park”. Luckily, I had taken the shot. I’m not great at giving photos titles, hence the title for this one. This was taken on the same night of my other photos “Luna Over Luna Park”, “Luna Harbour” and “Luna PANORAMA”. The photos were taken in quite quick succession. I attempted to combine the full moon, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You might be interested in viewing the other photos because this is in Portrait, two are in Landscape, and one PANORAMA. It’s amazing how a similar subject can be photographed in slightly different ways, and produce different results. I will interested in knowing which of the four is you favourite !

The Maiden, The Mother and The Crone From the original acrylic on 100cm x 100cm canvas. Metallic and glitter overlays… I started this mandala the week before one of my close girl friends was diagnosed with lung cancer and finished four months later – the week after she died. It was a hugely cathartic work and the three phases of the goddess reflect the changes in me over the years. I have been the warrior maiden; mothered my child and have entered into the spiritual crone phase of my life… This is a work in progress. Every year I add something to the picture as it reflects my journey through this life. Bright Blessings to all:) all rights reserved mt2008 !!

I woke up one morning and came out into the kitchen just after I had finished this work and the rainbow was spot on the stone of destiny! It was goosepimple stuff, I tell you! The spirits walked my house that morning! These big powerful mandalas are connections… connections with spirit, connections with others, connections with myself. In modern English, the term ghost ship has come to stand for at least one of three separate definitions, all of which involving unexplained circumstances. Every once in awhile I see something in the viewfinder that just really excites me with the possibilities and this happens to be on of those images. After 4 hours of twisting and turning in the narrow confines of Antellop Canyon I spotted this series of repeating curves and some nice light and the rest is history. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did viewing it in person! Sweeping curves of sandstone each eclipsed by the previous layer withing Antelope Canyon
