My husband makedge for Christmas OOOOOOH so delicious!! sweet and rich, made with brown sugar, whipping cream,butter and syrup. Oh my I just can’t wait!!! But wait!!! too much can be poison!

A selection of tasty fudge…. home made and for sale in Greenwich Market…including strawberry, coffee, chocolate, custard flavours Camera: Nikon D40X The components of Fudge are very similar to the traditional recipe for Scots Tablet, which is noted in “The Household Book of Lady Grisell Baillie” (1692-1733). The term “fudge” is often used in the United Kingdom for a softer variant of the tablet recipe. One of the first documentations of American-style fudge (containing chocolate) is found in a letter written by Emelyn Battersby Hartridge, a student at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She wrote that her schoolmate’s cousin made fudge in Baltimore, Maryland in 1886 and sold it for 40 cents a pound. Miss Hartridge got hold of the fudge recipe, and in 1888, made 30 lb (14 kg) of fudge for the Vassar College Senior Auction. This Vassar fudge recipe became quite popular at the school for years to come.[

Stopped at a local ice cream shop and ordered this sundae… to photograph. (yes, I did eat the whole thing later) In September 2001, President George Bush stopped here. / He approached the stunned little girl and asked her what was good…. she suggested this sundae…. a blend of ice cream, fudge, and carmel topped with pecans and whipped cream. He enjoyed it… and so did I!

This little Boston Terrier had been stolen from his home. He went missing for five weeks. I was lucky to spot him walking on a street and rescue him. He had no collar, so I took him to our vet to be scanned for microchip. Rest is history, and the reunion with his owners was joyful.

Our favorite little shop up in apple country, Oak Glen, California. She is making “Rocky Road” Fudge. Selective Coloring used along with Redfield Fractalius. The red writing in the “Fudge Only” shot says; My Favorite, Chocolate/Peanut Butter, lol.
