i think one of the main reasons i love winter, is because of the snow, it seems to bring character to everything it touches. things one wouldnt normally pay attention to, snow brings it to view. this was taken while hanging out with anthony pierce, in the great smoky mountains
“Big Red” lighthouse in the winter.

The bank of Sava river in Belgrade, Serbia. Whenever I dream about it, these are the colors I see, the cold air, and the frost. Everywhere. Everytime.

Some amazing ice formations that I captured whilst driving between Chattanooga and McMinville, Tennessee, USA. They had formed on the cliffs next to the side of the road.

This is the quad lift line up to Minamisawa Peak on 47. I thought about cropping out the chair but I think it’s all part of the mountain experience. To ski such beautiful terrain and access these magical mountains, we have to get up there somehow. The views are also magical. The ride down in fresh snow is even moreso!
It was a dreary and grey day today. The fog was so thick so I decided to go for a drive to one of the lighthouses. This is an old outhouse hanging over the edge of the cliff next to the lighthouse. This is what the lighthouse keeper would use to scratch that itch… lol. It’s probably about 100 feet to the ocean straight below. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography
