This is a tiny frog found in a pond during my travels in Brisbane. It was about 3 centimeters long and very happy to pose for me.

Amphibia Bubblemania / Like frogs? When i was a youngin, my mum, Suzie, drove us around everywhere in a little bright green gemini, named aptly ‘Suzie’s Tree frog” / Her tenpin bowling league team name was ‘The tree frogs’ / and she adores frog sculptures, bric a brac…anything frog related! / I grew up surrounded by cute lil froggies everywhere lol.. / even had some pet ones for awhile, but they didnt get along too well with our tortoise :) / My mum, Suzie, She was very inspirational in the making of this piece. This took a while – extremely enjoyable and relaxing. In fact I may just do another in this theme. There is no background colour so by changing the colour of the tee it will give the frog a different look. Colored portrait of little boy talking to a frog He’s about two years old / Cocquille paper ..stiple surface and I use it for all my work…strong enough for watercolor or color pencils and that is what I used here…I use water when I need it and spray it with a fine mist to bring out more color…and use a hairdryer. / This was a commission / Featured in / Childhood / Fabulous Froggies / Pencil Drawing / Placed in top 10 Challenge (Froggies)
