Part of a short series of images taken in an authentic and derelict church manse in Glebe, Sydney. It was located on the same piece of land as the original Church (which was also disused). These shots were taken during two visits – the second and last visit spooked me so much – I’ll not be going back…this stairwell was just so rivetting. The colours here are the existing tones in the original image with some slight enhancement.

Big Belly Marv is the most horrendous person you would ever meet. He weighs over 400 lbs and sweats perversely he has a body odor that would gag a bag full of maggots, Big Belly Marv is a poor excuse for a human being, and all he has to live for is being in Freaky Frogster’s carnival. This is the 2nd character in the Freaky Frogster’s Carnival Of Fright series. / Thank you for viewing my work. Image copyright © 2007, Larry Fridel. Queen Molunair comes from a land unkown she is very mysterious, it is said that she can look into your mind and twist your very soul. Once on a cool Autumn night while the Carnival Of Fright was in Bay Ridge a local farmer made fun of her, said she was a fake. The man is now in the Bay Ridge Sanitarium where he has been seen clawing and tearing shreds of skin off his face and eating it. So when you stand in front of her at the Carnival Of Fright do you dare look into to her eyes? Do You?? This is the third character in Freaky Frogster’s Carnival Of Fright series. A feeding flock of Snow Geese takes flight after being scared from the cornfield at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico. Often it’s a coyote that spooks them or other predators. While not equal in flock size to the morning fly out, these “fright flights” are an impressive spectacle in and of themselves.
Day #228 of my 365 days project – a self-portrait a day for a year.
One of the first rooms i walked into at this abandoned stately home was the kitchen, in which i was confronted by this view. Let me tell you, when you are walking round in half darkness and you suddenly come on this you get all kinds of things going through your mind. Luckily it was only a mannequin but that isn’t the first thing you think.

What was that noise? / Digitally painted in Corel Painter X.
Window-eyes survey an unreal world / that we in blindness label life, / And waits for those who’ll cross its borders, / To tread the ground of Reaper’s knife, Voices cry in silent moaning, / Souls call out in their lament, / Amidst the bustle of the city, / And self-deceiving lies are rent. The Haunted house stands ever empty, / Full of all that’s passed away, / And eyes that fear the truth it’s holding, / Simply, always, look away.

The Twilight Zone is an American television anthology series created by Rod Serling. Each episode (156 in the original series) is a mixture of self-contained fantasy, science fiction, suspense, or horror, often concluding with a macabre or unexpected twist. A popular and critical success, it introduced many Americans to serious science fiction and abstract ideas through television and also through a wide variety of Twilight Zone literature. The program followed in the tradition of earlier radio programs such as The Weird Circle and X Minus One and the radio work of Serling’s hero, dramatist Norman Corwin. It’s so very hard to comprehend what my late Uncle endured in this hell house before he lost his mind. My brain is racing and I’m so tired from the lack of sleep. These horrifying images are consuming me. What an unspeakable sight they are, I feel them clawing at my mind and eating at my very being. “Oh ok”, the third image is about to develop, “MY WHAT EVER IS HOLY”!!! Give me a second to catch my breath; my heart is thumping so hard it feels that it’s going to burst through my chest. I’ll try to my best ability to describe this image. It’s like this ghoul is guarding the doorway, and it seems so very old, I shall call this thing from Hell “The Elder”. “My I’m feeling so tired and dizzy I feel like I’m about to pppass ooouut”…………………… Best viewed large Featured / The Story 1 The Haunted / 2 / The Haunted 2 / 4 / The Haunted 4 5 / “The Haunted 5”: http://www.redbubble.com/people/frogster/art/3820162-2-the-haunted-5-the-sacrifice Image copyright © 2009, Larry Fridel. Inspired by my son… a never ending source of insight . —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— Good night my son, now it’s time for bed. / It has been along day and your book has been read. Yes, I know it is dark, but you’ve nothing to fear / There is nothing about it’s just you and me here. That thing that you’re feeling, some know it as dread. / It’s not at all real. It’s just thoughts in your head. Now stop; don’t be silly, my patience runs short. / I’ll waste no more time, not a moments more thought. Then I leave the room and my mind starts to race, / As it hits me hard, like a strike to the face. If the answers so simple, the solution so clear, / Why is it I seem to battle my fear?
Having admired the work of Tracey Mac and her little friend Manny I was over the moon to welcome a new member to our own family. Minny is a little shy, she is still getting to know us and is not at all sure about being thrust into the limelight here on RB. I assured her that you all would be a wonderfully supportive audience, so please… say hi and make her feel welcome :) Maybe if you ask her nicely she might even do a little dance for you.
