this image started life as a pencil sketch and evolved from there. The Double-mouthed sailtail generously tows his companion, Blockhead, across the Atlip desert. Blockhead shields Gorff from the watchful eye of the ever hungry Zylap. Their trusty, but aging pumpkin droid, brings up the rear.

HDR image of a Steinway Piano at a friends’ home. She’s quite an accomplished artist herself, she painted the images behind the piano in Tuscany Italy. I’m looking for a good title for this image, this piano hasn’t been played in years. If you can think of a title that jumps out at you, I’d appreciate you posting it for me. Thanks. Did this one a while quite a while ago. Back when I was in my early twenties… (Oh crap I’m getting old.) Who are the monsters? Why are they swimming on a faraway planet with a pot bellied little boy? Why did I feel the need to use so much marker on this piece? I don’t have the answers to any of that…sorry. Deal with it.

This piece was recently part of an exhibition. My cat, Muffin found a new grey cat in the neighbourhood and is very fond of it. They now hang out together quite a bit. Yesterday and today I work on this painting of a dog (I think it is some kind of Spaniel). I really wanted to exceed myself with this one. Mainly I make paintings with a neutral background, but this time I really wanted a theme. So I turned on some nice classical music which immediatly brought my in the mood for this painting, but than again, music is painting with notes hahaha. The photo really captured that moment when someone calls their dog and they look up at you just a moment before they jump up and run towards you. As I did not like the background in the photo I tried to make my own background out of several other photo’s. It was really hard to blend in the dog with the background with his shadow, but also because the dog is in a somewhat different style than the background. I have the painting as my desktop background and I just cannot stop watching, to me that is a good sign ;-) Best regards, Odwin

I hope you like her. When my husband saw this, he said / she took my breath away. reminds me of the first time I saw you .breath takingly beautiful / it just doesn’t get better than that :) xx This started off as a pencil drawing I did a couple of months ago, I’ve since coloured her in digitally. Makes a nice thank you card from the bride, or just a pretty gift card or print for a girlfriend or your sweetheart.
