I’ve gotta be the most corny title-creator-person-dude. My alarm went off at 6.45am and temperature outside was around 4C. You had no idea how warm my bed felt at the time, but something inside told me to wake up and enjoy the early giving’s nature has to offer. Plus, breathing fresh air for every 5 minutes would’ve added 5 more years to my life. =) - – - / Shot settings: / Body: Canon EOS 350D / Lens: Sigma 10-20mm EX HSM DC / Shutter Speed: 1/40 sec / F-stop: F/8 / Focal Length: 10mm / Flash: Did not fire / ISO: 100 MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO /
Blossoming cherry tree in spring with blossoming field and deep blue sky.
Done by hand put into GIMP to finish to do the digital work. The colors of September, the fading Blue sky of summer,I can feel the cooler winds as they pass by. MY BUBBLESITE
I took this on the way home after a Christmas Concert by the Big Rock Singers and just had to share it right away. We have had a dump of six to eight inches of heavy wet snow lasting all day, causing me to shovel several driveways several times today. However, the absolute beauty of freshly fallen snow mixed with blue Christmas lights makes up for any of the day’s toils. Hope you like it.

Walamurra Creek in the rainforest section of Royal National Park. This shot is taken from the same position as Ophelia and Swan Maiden but facing the opposite direction. This is a long, almost perfectly straight section of the creek which is rare in a rainforest. And we haven’t had decent rain here for months so it was such a treat to go there today and see the water flowing so freely after the last few day’s rain. The variety of Royal never ceases to amaze me – this creek flows through some of the most beautiful rainforest with huge moss-covered trees and ferns and epiphytes while a kilometer to the east a huge sea swell smashes against rugged sandstone cliffs topped with coastal heath. Don’t know anywhere else where you get such an amazing range of landscapes in such a small area. Taken with the Canon 1Ds MkIII / Tv: 5secs / Av: f/8 / ISO: 100 / FL: 16mm / Slight Orton effect in post-processing

These beautiful falls are not named, or signed. Was an accident that I even found them, getting lost is a wonderful way to find somewhere you havn’t been. At the base of Mount Wellington, Hobart, I’m sure someone knows where these are. I think the stream came from the mountain, snow melt or rain. Beautiful and fresh, and quite cool. Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Canon 50D, 10mm, 16:9 crop. Available large and definately best viewed Large!
