The two side roses represent being trapped by limited beliefs and social conditioning. The rose in the middle is always growing – it is not at full bloom as the only place to go then is to wilt and die.

One of the many paragliders setting off from Mam Tor in the Sheffield Peak District (Derbyshire)
Another of the images taken while on the walk up Mam Tor. This was actually taken once over the peak, and at the start of the descent. The number of paragliders was awe-inspiring.

A folded national ensign is held carefully prior to the burial of Maj. Douglas A. Zembiec, former commander of E Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment. Zembiec was killed in action May 10. He once told reporters during combat in Fallujah his Marines "fought like lions." Zembiec was laid to rest by the Marine with whom he served May 15. Article by Gunnery Sgt. Mark Oliva found HERE. “Never forget those who were killed. Never let rest those who killed them.” — Douglas A. Zembiec, read from his diary at his funeral on May 16, 2007, written while serving as Commanding Officer of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment during the First Battle of Fallujah. Traditionally, the flag of the United States plays a role in military funerals, and occasionally in those over other civil servants (such as the President). A burial flag is draped over the deceased’s casket as a pall during services. Just prior to the casket being lowered into the ground, the flag is ceremonially folded and presented to the deceased’s next of kin as a token of respect.
I saw this flat on a beautiful day in Oahu, Hawaii. It was flying over the memorial at Pearl Harbor…. Photographed with a Sony DSLR layered with texture images from DeviantArt using Gimp. Sold in June 2009.
