  • FREEDOM / OIL / $1500 US (ORIGINAL 14” X 18”) SOLD / SIGNED DEDICATED PRINTS AVAILABLE Before my birth my soul soared exempt from hindrance and restraint, free from the imprisonment of self. Through pain and discomfort I was born into a material world filled with a constant frantic pursuit of acquisitions. A world that professed the more one acquires the better off one will be. With these limited aims I began my pursuit of goods and services. I attempted to satisfy this hunger for these possessions believing in what I had been told by the salesmen of these fictitious myths. With these limited goals I had limited aims. Not realizing that no one can achieve happiness by seeking that which can never be achieved. The more I had, the more I wanted. The result was slavery. A slavery to the very thing that I was told would set me free. I had inadvertently disregarded the importance of the Infinite by my pursuit of the material. By losing the link to the Infinite I began losing myself. Then I saw in Nature the freedom I desired. It galloped up to me, in front of my very gaze, inviting me to ride to a new freedom. A freedom from want. It was Nature that first set me free. It was in this cathedral of Nature that I found my way back to the Infinite. visionary imagist “Joey”

Actually, who are you not to be? / You are a child of God. / Your playing small does not serve the world. / There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. / We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. / It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. / And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. / As we are liberated from our own fear, / our presence automatically liberates others.” by Marrianne Williamson ~ excerpts from Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles. • Model: The Beautiful TextureoftheSin Whispers In The Wind – Dan Fogelburg Like a wraith she ambles aimlessly / Through the mists along the shore / She wraps the foggy night around her / Like a warming shawl / And leaves wildflowers at my door / She comes to me when she needs company / And weaves her web around my soul / She comes to me to free those wild, / Burning, passion fires / That she cannot control / And by the morning light I know / That she’ll be gone / And then the lonely hours begin / And all she leaves behind / To find her in the dawn / Are whispers in the wind / And in the flicker of the candlelight / She takes comfort in my touch / And then she pulls away and leaves / Before the candles die / Or before she feels too much / And by the morning light I know / That she’ll be gone / And then the lonely hours begin / And all she leaves behind / To find her in the dawn / Are whispers in the wind
