  • This was taken at the Educational Testing Service’s Chauncey conference center in Princeton,NJ. I have hit a sort of obsession with bricks and the pattern of bricks and aged bricks and bricks falling out of their wall. This photo is the street obviously and I notice that I’m starting to see more bricks now that I’m looking. They seem to be everywhere and I wonder how long they’ve been there. The ETS Chauncey Conference center was built in 1970 and there is a chance these bricks have been there ever since. / This image was not digitally manipulated in any way.

  • This is a collection of photos from around the Washington, DC area. The individual photos of brick have not been manipulated, but I used Photoshop to compile them into the brick pattern you see. I am terrible with Photoshop and try to stay away from digital manipulation, so this took me a while to finish. I want to do this same idea again using specific buildings and locations instead of any building that has cool looking bricks. Then I want to have a key referencing each set of bricks, letting you know where they came from and interesting stuff like that. I need to start that now if I want it done this year. If it has crossed your mind to buy this, wait for a while so i can order one and make sure the printing quality is what I expect. I’ll post my printing thoughts here if your interested at all.
