  • WILD AND FREE / / Two cheetah cub brothers sitting on a termite mound. Taken early one morning about half an hour after sunrise. (Masai Mara – Kenya) / / The world’s fastest land animal, the cheetah, is a unique and the most specialized member of the cat family and can reach speeds of 70 mph. Unlike other cats, the cheetah has a leaner body, longer legs, and has been referred to as the greyhound of the cats. It is not an aggressive animal, using flight versus fight. With its weak jaws and small teeth, the price it paid for speed, it cannot fight larger predators to protect its kill or young. The cheetah was once a common animal found on five continents, but is slowly losing its race for survival and is now classed as an Endangered Species! • This is from a series I did on ravens this year. I worked with the two ravens housed by the Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences, a wonderful raptor rehabilitation center in northern New England, not too far from where I live. The original is still available and of course you can buy a high quality print or notecard through Red Bubble! If you’d like to see more of my artwork, please visit my website and sign up to to be on my mailing list. Thanks again for your interest, enthusiasm, and support! It means a lot to me. PS I may not be able to reply to all your comments—but really, I appreciate them all so much.

  • What a Joy!! To find new moments in your life when you are no longer a slave to past feelings and outmoded thinking!! It is like jumping off a cliff into the best cool water below…. Aritheagle or Ariji as i call him.. made such a wonderful comment…included this quote from / Melody Beattie Letting go doesn’t mean we don’t care. Letting go doesn’t mean we shut down. / Letting go means we stop trying to force outcomes and make people behave. / It means we give up resistance to the way things are, for the moment. / It means we stop trying to do the impossible-controlling that which / we cannot-and instead, focus on what is possible—which usually means / taking care of ourselves. And we do this in gentleness, kindness, / and love, as much as possible. Thanks so much Ariji! Take it away.. BOB MARLEY

  • Model: The Beautiful TextureoftheSin Whispers In The Wind – Dan Fogelburg Like a wraith she ambles aimlessly / Through the mists along the shore / She wraps the foggy night around her / Like a warming shawl / And leaves wildflowers at my door / She comes to me when she needs company / And weaves her web around my soul / She comes to me to free those wild, / Burning, passion fires / That she cannot control / And by the morning light I know / That she’ll be gone / And then the lonely hours begin / And all she leaves behind / To find her in the dawn / Are whispers in the wind / And in the flicker of the candlelight / She takes comfort in my touch / And then she pulls away and leaves / Before the candles die / Or before she feels too much / And by the morning light I know / That she’ll be gone / And then the lonely hours begin / And all she leaves behind / To find her in the dawn / Are whispers in the wind
