Just before the last light disappeared and darkness dominated the forest, River and I enjoyed the almost “warm feeling” of the sun shining through the trees. However River discovered a little fawn at the “deep end” of the woods just after I took this photo (the dark and far end in the picture) and yelled at me to follow her to see her friend. Right outside of the little inn we stayed in Barry’s Bay (Ontario, Canada), there was this little lake that’s still mostly frozen. At dusk River and I took a little bike ride around the lake and this is the sunset we saw….

I haven’t the slightest idea what this is but it’s sitting right behind Wilno Station Inn. :) Wilno is the first Polish settlement in Canada and they call it “God’s country”, perhaps because it’s rolling hills, vast fields and forests and of course, clean streams, rivers and lakes.
