I actually drew quite a few years ago. It is of course, Based on Michelangelo Buonarroti’s “The Creation of Adam” from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. There is no doubt in my mind that if the man were alive today and saw this, he would scream at me in a language I don’t understand while using cuss words appropriate to his period, then possibly call me a heretic and damn me to an eternity in hell. I thought it was funny though.

watercolour on coldpress watercolour paper / original 20”x16” Freddy is what my wife named a particular squirrel that visits our back deck daily. His routine is to first let us know his here. He does this by jumping onto the back of one of the wicker rockers and looks through the window. When he sees one of us get up out of our easy chair he runs over to a pear tree just a few feet away from the deck and waits while we place some bread on the deck, which of course he immediately returns to retrieve. Most of the time he sits on the deck railing to eat his feast.
