Speckled pony foal – I believed it was a Shetland pony, as it was with its mother at the time and she looked like a Shetland pony. However, the Shetland Pony experts in the UK have emailed me to tell me there is no such thing as spotted Shetlands so there we are! ;o) All I know is I just wanted to pick up the cute critter and take him home with me. New Forest, Hampshire, England.

Freckles a 6 month young Pit Bull at the SPCA here in Las Vegas, his foster parents dropped him off last week after recovering from a leg amputation and Freckles is also deff. Following how popular my BIBA image of Lozie in natural light was…I have put up another in the natural light series…this is very 1970’s BIBA advertising…highly saturated colours with a grain effect that came from the transparences of that era. My grain comes from having to shoot at a high ISO with an old camera!

I created this design in Illustrator, specifically to be printed on t-shirts. This character came out of months of experimentation. Since I work in the animation industry, a lot of my characters are inspired by cartoons I see on T.V. I have been drawing characters since I was a kid, constantly exploring different styles. Character design is something I find myself continually working at. This illustration for me represents my own personal growth as an artist and the reality that I will never reach an end destination, and that my art is a journey where I am constantly learning, experiencing and seeing new things. I guess I never want to stop seeing life like a kid does…
