She told me about the bunkers around the bay at San Francisco…I didn’t mean to imply that she stood watch at that location. But, I am sure that many dedicated citizens like her stood watch with binoculars and coastal defence canons of some sort at this location to keep the entrance to the bay safe during the years of the war. Everyone had a need to feel part of the defense of the country…and there were real dangers from the Japanese on the West Coast. When we were walking around Golden Gate Park on Sunday we heard music playing so we went to investigate. That is when we saw all these people on skates dancing and skating to the music. And then this guy came skating up. I think even Dorothy would be envious of these skates. Thank you for checking out my new work. Troy W. Smith

It was hard to keep the tripod still in the strong wind, but the bridge has a magnetic personality that wants to be photographed.

An afternoon of shoot with a friend, we actually came to this beach, called marshall beach. Loved the view of the water and the bridge. A must go to spot for any photographer!! Hope you enjoy!!
