Like a fairytale castle Mont Saint Michel at dusk in the rain, I got wet and cold but it was worth it for images like this. A blended exposure using HDR techniques. All money raised in the sale of my art until November goes towards the Steven T. Hill Stroke Foundation. Taken in the Grounds of Chenonceau House in Chenonceau, France.
This shot was taken on the streets of Paris (yes a lot of my images are from my trip, I just saw too many beautiful things not to share). In this shot the Cherub seems to be alone or lost, and the falling drops from the fountain above I thought were like Angel Tears, tears for the little one they couldn’t find.

Pont du Gard is a Roman aqueduct crossing the river Gardon near Nimes (south of France). Built by Roman engineers throughout the 1st century AD this system brought in water to the Roman town of Nemausus (Nîmes) via an impressive aqueduct system of 50 km from springs at the Fountaine d’Eure in Uzès

This is La Courtine, one of the most beautiful cliff I’ve ever seen. La Courtine is part of the amazing rocky coast around Etretat in Upper Normandy, France, altogether known as Les Failases d’Etretat. I took this picture last August, on a very windy – as usual over there – late afternoon. / I wanted to have the sea looking as much smooth as possible, but I was in full daylight, as it was around 19:30 hours. Even with the overcasted sky, and even full stopping down the lens, the exposure time was only 1/2 seconds, a too fast time to move the sea surface. Using a polarizer and a 8x ND filter I gained 5 more stops, obtaining therefore, with a slight over-exposure, 20 secs of exposure time. Finally, I used a graduated filter to darken the sky, while keeping a correct exposure on the cliffs and the sea. / This allowed me to give the sea surface a watercolour paint look, and I also obtained a slight movement in the clouds, thanks to the strong wind. I hope you enjoy it, thanks for dropping by. / Paolo

Arrested Expansion is a symbolic scene that depicts a combination of self-excluding objects that might not be present in real life. Objects in the secluded room make the viewer feel claustrophobic and unreal, which might be compared to someone’s mental delusion based on a medical condition. Image is a mixture of photo stock with some 2D vectors, and 3D objects. Photoshop, 3ds max, Illustrator. / The most common cause of cardiac arrest is a heart rhythm disorder or arrhythmia called ventricular fibrillation (VF). The heart has a built-in electrical system. When a contraction happens, blood is pumped. But in ventricular fibrillation, the electrical signals that control the pumping of the heart suddenly become rapid and chaotic. As a result, the lower chambers of the heart, the ventricles, begin to quiver (fibrillate) instead of contract, and they can no longer pump blood from the heart to the rest of the body. If blood cannot flow to the brain, it becomes starved of oxygen, and the person loses consciousness in seconds.
