It’s Paris, It’s the Louvre, It’s the Glass Pyramid from the Da Vinci Code. It’s also a 10-20mm lens and above all… a pleasure and privilege to have been there again!

Taken from the roof top garden of Galleries La Fayette (we think) looking down the tree bordered Rue Tronchet toward Madeline Church, and behind that the golden dome of Napoleon’s tomb with the ever present Eiffel Tower in the background far right. Buyers Please Note : This image is processed to imitate a painting, as in by this close up excerpt from the original. The artist suggests the following artworks as companion pieces. Cityscape was shot from the top of the “Arc de Triomphe” in Paris (France). Far away you can see “La Defense” district. When the shot was taken the avenue was strangely empty, all the cars seemed to be escaping the city. I think this photograph will be great on Laminated print, Mounted print or Canvas print.

The Eiffel Tower, on a cold Winter’s night.

This shot was taken on the streets of Paris (yes a lot of my images are from my trip, I just saw too many beautiful things not to share). In this shot the Cherub seems to be alone or lost, and the falling drops from the fountain above I thought were like Angel Tears, tears for the little one they couldn’t find.

Originally a photo from my recent trip overseas but this has gone further then my usual photography and is more of an artwork. I really like what I’ve achieved and its thanks to the Redbubble community encouraging me to try new styles and be adventurous. So thank you, and please let me know if this is a style worth progressing.

A COLLABORATION WITH LINAJI / (Thank you very much for your excellent poem) Where Do You Love From…Really / Author: linaji Where Do You Love From? / Your pink painted toes? / Or the hollow of your sighs / As my tongue journeys unabashedly / Down the silk trails of your thighs Does my latent life scream Onlyness? / Echo Eons from the heart / Where do you / Love from / Live From / Darling / When do we ever start? History has changed much / Now that Eve did eat the snake, / She brought about apples only / For mother’s pie in Adam’s wake Where do you Love from / Really? / The marrow of your bones? / Is longing, loving and living here / A pirates chest of stones? What about your fingertips? / Dipping softly into my flesh, / Do I utter sighs with beggars eyes / Or do I let our two lips mesh? Do you feel from what is stillness / A time when lovers care, / Do you ooze the sweet-laced vapors? / That my focus on you dares, That moan / That cry / That primal stare / That leads me inside you / Elusive hips that ride your smile / And worlds outside the Que. / A passions mist that takes our lips / A fog beyond compare, / I lay here spent with one leg bent / And dream with you I dare.. Now,, Where do you Love from,,,, / Really. FROM PARIS SERIES: / UNE FEMME PENSIVE / GLAMOUR / / BELLE PARISIENNE / / CHARLESTON / / / BELLE DE JOUR / / / FEMME EN BLEU /

Here is another Paris scene I captured on my recent holiday. I’ve tried a similar processing to my earlier Eiffel Tower shot, I hope it works in this case.

Beautiful Paris with all its wonderful icons painted in a stylish, funky colorful composition. The Gesher Theatre in Tel Aviv Israel producing Design For Living by Noel Coward used the picture of my painting as part of their set in one of the scenes in their play.

i don’t usually use any of photoshop’s distortion filters, but felt like having a little fun with this stock travel shot. indeed i was drunk when i took the shot after spending all day on the hill of Basilique du Sacré-Cœur drinking red wine. Paris has to be my favourite city for people watching, there are so many styles, fashions and personalities found on the many streets of Paris, it was a joy to wander around and take it all in. I found this gentleman enjoying a baguette on the sidewalk (pavement or footpath depending on where you are from). Something about him really captured my interested so I fired of a few shots. When I got back, something was missing from the original scene and I wasn’t sure exactly what so I’ve played around extensively with layers to build up the affect you see, some doding and burning, motion blur and playing with the curves and levels. Overall I’m very happy with the end result which I think adds something the original was missing.

Château de Chenonceau near the French village of Chenonceaux in the Loire Valley, is considered to be a true fairyland caste with its distinctive turrets, rooftops and the unique tower next t the castle. This photograph of one of the hallway of the building portrays a mysterious elegance that engulfs the building today. Colors of monochrome: Some of my other work: / / / © Kuntal Daftary
