I’m in Florida while my husband is attending a conference. I take this free time as quality time with my camera. Our hotel consists of two buildings, each standing swimming pools and tennis courts apart. I start by standing in my balcony and taking a picture of the second hotel building, I get a close up making the picture abstract and tilt the camera a bit to create interest. It’s one of those simple shots, one of those obvious shots that people simply overlook. This is also one of my favorite type of photographs, I love the abstraction. /

WARNING WIDE LOAD- BEST VIEWED LARGER My neighbourhood, my sunrise, my inspiration. / Newport Beach I awoke looked out the window to see a glint of colour. Will i get out of bed , or roll over and go back to sleep ? Guess what decision won? Newport Beach is one of the many beaches, north of the city within a short drive. Everyone goes to Bondi that is crowded. Why not head north to pristine beaches, no crowds, and watch the sun rise and set. A good seafood meal, some chilled chardonnay or a beer. Sorry nothern hemisphere bubblers it’s officially Summer downunder, so we have to put up with mornings like this for the next few months. Yes I know it’s hard but somebody has to do it ! BEST VIEWED LARGER Thanks for dropping in the Favouritings,Comments and views are appreciated this location is close to home but it was only today I got to investigate it at sunset. Paradise Beach is one of the many secluded beaches that dot the shores of Pittwater and the entrance of the Hawkesbury River. Around 30 kilometres from Sydney CBD and you can sit down and watch the sunrise and sunset. Be as energetic as you wish or just chill out to a good wine or a cold beer. oh and dont forget the oysters So when visiting Sydney head North to the wonders of Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
