I have been waiting for this kind of shot for a long time. The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. The bridge reminds me of an emotion of solitude, which is not to be confused with loneliness. The former leads to an internal peace and being one with nature and oneself while the latter was a feeling of being forced to be alone, deprived of freedom and choice. I used to call this photo “Peaceful Bridge” until a young patient of mine (at the time she was nine years old) explored the difference between solitude and loneliness. When the image was presented to him as an illustration, he exclaimed, “Oh, solitude is peace, inner peace!” And the true title of the piece was born. I am certainly no expert at making tee shirts. I know there are others out there who are the real experts. So I’m just going to share a few helpful hints that came out of my struggles to get two tees designs on RB. Here’s what I did: -Opened Photoshop Elements (or any other image editing program) and set up a new empty page. -Set the dimensions to 2400 width x 3200 height with a transparent background. IMPORTANT NOTE: If the background is not transparent, it will not work! If you are one pixel off on the dimensions, it will not work! You cannot transpose the pixels either (NOT 3200 width x 2400 height) as it will not work! -Transferred (copied) an image to the blank/transparent background. -Added text to complete my design. -Saved image as a .png file. NOTE: Other file extensions (such as .jpg) will not work! It must be a .png file! -Uploaded to Redbubble with a default color and a default style. This will be the color and style (short-sleeve, long sleeve, etc.) you want to display on the page to showcase your design. NOTE: If you forget to choose the defaults, it will not work! Should I have a contest to see who can guess all the things I did wrong when I first tried to upload a tee shirt design? LOL! Don’t hesitate to let me know if you have problems or further questions. March 13th 2008 a property on Range Road at Willunga, known as ‘Yurunga’ that was burned to the ground approximately 50 acres of natural scrub land was lost in the fire. Courageous CFS fire fighters risked their own lives to save the property. I took this photo whilst in Wittunga Botanic Gardenes, South Australia / Phylica Pubescens – Featherhead / Origin: South Africa / This attractive bush is densely covered with hairy leaves and each hair seems to gather the sunlight and make it glow.
