Hello, We’re looking to introduce a matted print to RedBubble in a couple of weeks time. The print area would be one size to start (max 10 by 15 inches) with an overall matte dimension of 17 by 23 inches. We’re aiming for the base price to be $25-$30. The matted print would be backed with thick card stock and would have a hanging device on the back of them (like mounted prints) so they can be directly hung on the wall. We’re also looking to introduce a ‘interchangeable frame’ that could be used to house the matted print – the theory is that it would be easy to swap a matted print in and out. The base price for the interchangeable frame is yet to be finalized but it’s likely to be $60-$80. The matt board and backing board will be acid free. The frame will be made of solid timber sustainably harvested in Australia (no rainforest timber). Mountain Ash for those who know their Australian timbers. So a few quick questions: 1. Is the matted print a product that you’d be interested in? / 2. Is the interchangeable frame something you’d be interested in? / 3. Do you want the want glass/perspex in the interchangeable frame (or nothing in front of the print)? / 4. Would you be happy to sell your art as a matted print? / 5. Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Australian King Parrot Sets of Two: / A_Top_Spot The colours of the male King Parrot are striking, with the head and underparts being vivid scarlet, the back and wings are a rich green and the tail a deep blue. It has pale green markings on its wings. Their eyes have a yellow ring and their bill is red above and blackish below. / The King Parrot can be found along the eastern side of Australia’s mainland, from Cooktown in Queensland and inland to the Carnarvon Ranges, into the NSW wooded coastline and inland to the Warrumbungles National Park, down to the bottom end of Victoria and inland to Wodonga. Their habitat varies to include rainforests, palm forests, eucalypt forests, dense gullies, clearings, coastal woodlands, farms and orchards, parks and gardens. / Their diet consists of leaf buds and new shoots, blossoms, nectar and seeds from natives such as eucalypt and acacia, as well as introduced plants, but they are also known to raid orchards and farms for fruit and vegetables such as apple and corn. / The King Parrot breeds from September to January and builds its nest in tree hollows, high off the ground. Three to five eggs are laid which are incubated by the female for around twenty days. The young are fed initially by the female, but then by both parents once half grown. Young fledge after five weeks. The Parrot is common in its ranges.

Through my cyber travels i have come across many photographers work that has been stolen and used without their knowledge / And just recently i have found a site that tracks back photos and shows where they are being used on the net / http://tineye.com/ / you simply enter the image address (URL) or choose an image from your HD and the site looks for it in their archives / it even works for images that have been cropped after being stolen or partially photoshopped this is a good example / http://tineye.com/search/0ac89241ed4c8ccd104094f6412ded2e0acfc2d7 / The original is the profile pic of someone who friend requested me on Facebook as something seemed odd/funny about it I put the image through Tineye.com / and you can see the results Another image site which you might like (if you use flickr) is / http://clipyourphotos.com/FP / they serch through the Flickr Front page history for your photos that might have been featured there that you missed any way I hope these are useful for people Cheers Richard
