I would describe life in the same way I do myself…. a mess… but a BEAUTIFUL one!!! ...These latest pieces would not have been brought to life without the inspiration of my BEST friend. She not only inspired this latest work but the title for this piece too! =)

The city can be a dark and lonely place for some, I thank my lucky stars that I’m not one… This concept came to me one morning just after waking up. This is when most of my ideas and imagery come to me. I’ve worn back the edges to further skew the image.

Graphite pencils on 12×18” / 30×50cm smooth bristol. This was my final for Drawing I last quarter. / The focus of the assignment was to create a surreal image including some form of one and two-point perspective. This is what I did. I have my own little concept behind it, but I would love to hear your interpretation. I know the contrast is low, but this is how it looks like in real life and I didn’t want to screw with that.
