There’s a wild vine growing in one of my ferns, and I don’t have the heart to pull it out. It makes the prettiest shaped leaves and puts out delicate curly tendrils. The light was shimmering beautifully and dancing around the vine in a lovely dappled way when I got this shot.

This depicts Gaia Caring for the earth (baby in whom). The fragile baby represents the fragileness our planet.

When others see you wearing this design they are reminded that we need to recycle or resources, provide a cleaner environment for our children and to respect our earth and to remember to handle with care.

Our Earth is Perishable, protect it!
This work is the first part of a series that I am doing for all of the planets of our solar system. The sketch and basic paint was done in Painter, details were added in Photoshop. No references were used for the figure, except for the earth pattern on her body. I used photos of the planets and moon for the background.

Great as an Easter card, it could also be used to underline a more special event. There are a lot of symbols in here aside from the obvious. Eggs represent the Creation, the four elements and life itself. It is a powerful symbol of birth and rebirth. The butterfly is a symbol of transformation, love and joy. In some cultures, it is also associated with feminineness, beauty and fragility. More often, we see it representing freedom. This is a composite made of 2 flower photos and one of a butterfly, altered to look like an illustration and used twice here in two different hues. The egg has been created digitally. Great as an Easter card, available in my clothing and cards portfolio . The framed format would look great in a nursery or a child’s room. Even grown-ups could find it inspiring in the right setting. This is a composite made of 2 of my flower photos, one abstract of christmas lights manipulated to change the hues to more pastel tones and to give it a twirl , plus one of a butterfly, altered to look like an illustration and used twice here in two different hues. So there are 4 photos in all in the composite and the egg has been created digitally. The second in a set of rather experimental images dubbed The wine glass series. 29th March 2009. This is a merging of two of my own images with some quick editing in Photoshop CS3. The first image is the skyline of Surfers Paradise (as captured from Greenmount). The second image is a wine glass filled with water and droplets of water sprayed on the outside of the glass (rotated 90 degrees CCW) captured at slow-shutter speed. The wine glass was sitting in front of my computer screen, which was projecting one of my own blue sky images on the fullscreen. The two images have been merged through layering, with Contrast/Brightness/Shadow adjustments, Colour Removal from the city skyline image, Spotlight effects, and Image Transformation (Warp) – all in Photoshop CS3. I hope that you like the end result.
You’ve seen the film, you’ve read the book, you’ve bought the T-shirt & now you can buy the artwork too. / Yes its inspired by the film ‘End of The Line’ The message is simple enough, our Oceans will contain nothing more than Ghosts if we continue to ignore the obvious. We need to change; we need to look at what we’re doing to the global fish stocks & work out a better way to manage & sustain the resources available to us. / Also available as a T-shirt. / Like the sale sign says, when they’re gone, they’re gone!!!!! / /
Here is the well known and recognized Delicate Arch captured late afternoon on our Spring trip 2009 in the Arch National Park (utah). We decided to hike up for a sunset @ Delicate Arch thinking, it’s the off season, it can’t be that busy….... ya right, some 50 plus people (on top of another 30 well equipped photographers) . I felt so bad for all those serious photographers that had the tourist walking in their frame. Oh well, such is life. All to say, what a view, what a show and truly a magical moment. We did leave before the crowds as it got a little too busy. Canon Xt with my Sigma 17-35mm lens / Better viewed full screen / This is one shot where I wanted to be close of this arch and I’ve got a bunch of distance one with backgrounds which I’ll post later
