So I took my Crazy Ass image and put it through the Fractalius plugin, and then HDR in Photomatix. Best viewed at 100%. I’ve always thought this would make a funny greeting card, don’t you? This picture is still a work in progress … Im working on a non fractalius version of it. But I wanted to post it tonight so here it is. There is a song I was listening to while I was creating this.. Candles in the Rain – Melanie Lay down, lay down / Lay it all down, / Let your white bird smile up / While the world’s spinning ‘round. We were so close there was no room, / We bled inside each other’s wounds, / We all had caught the same disease, / We all sang the songs of peace. Some came to sing, / Some came to pray, / Some came to keep / The dark away. So raise your candles high, / Oh, did you know we cound save black against the night? Oh raise them higher again / And if you do we could stay dry against the rain. For someone special, where ever their journey took them.

The nude figure u see beneath the added textures was originally painted by hand Well ive played some more and added a guitar this was after listening to Santana so it seemed fitting ….....a touch of fractalius and subtle texture in the one…....

This one was kind of interesting. Saw these two in the field and set up for the shot then they ran away (something I said)! Drove up a couple hundred yards to the next clearing and there they were together again (thus the title). Couldn’t really get a crisp shot of them cause they were so active. So I took what I had and made this surreal shot in CS3 using HDR processing, Flood filter and Fractalius filter. I’m happy with the results. / / Hope you like! This started out as an LPS challenge image but I removed the contributed image and recreated a new painting from my camp-out trip to the Wild Animal Park. It was called Roar and Snore and we camped in the tents (see on far right) and them spent the next day visiting the park behind the scenes. It was wonderfully fun.
