  • A Susan Epps Oliver original 2008. All rights reserved. My interpretation of my neighbourhood….... This started life as a general panoramic photo of the Blue Ridge mountains taken during a trip on Skyline Drive in VA. The main addition to the photo was the use of the fractalius filter but the most time-consuming part was trying to get the colour balance the way I wanted it to be. Software used….. Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro and Ulead. Featured in the “Virginia” group. Bridge in the Shenandoah

  • I made this image in photoshop by merging layers of a couple of my photos then adjusting the colours and adding a filter.

  • This work has been featured in the Redfield Plugins Group and the Colour me a Rainbow Group ….....thanks so much to the moderators….... this one was inspired by a book i have on insects i was looking at it and thought they looked drab so i want to jazz them up a bit and so being influenced by Andy Warhol and some tiles i have in the shed lol see its already so convoluted ,but anyway it all came together in my wacky brain and this is the outcome ,,,,,,,,, firstly i sketched them then added colour by following the book i used corel brushes as usual got impasto in there for depth and then put them together Warhol style , i wanted some deep texture so into photoshop and played there with layers and filters till i got something i liked….... • Re-worked a shot I took quite some time ago, in order to enter it into the Redfield Plugin people challenge. Initially this started as a 30 second exposure, with me moving to a different spot at the counter every 10 seconds or so. Then I ran it through 2 different Redfield filters, layered both and selectively punched through it here and there (selective coloring). Then dodge and burned a little here and there, and now I am ready for a beer!!!! This has been taken with my Nikon D200 and 18-70mm lens. My art with 1000+ views

  • Each one of us is unique. No two are alike, unless you have a twin. Even then there are differences. This image celebrates that fact. We just simply are perfect! The message to us is that we should love ourselves, zits, moles, birthmarks and all. Fractalius Filter used for definition, selective coloring used to bring out the color of one leaf, flood filter used to reflect the leaf’s perfection back. Origonal Image taken at Prospect, Oregon

  • Applied Redfield Fractalius filter and Flaming Pear flood filter in PS.

  • Why do these do this every year? Not sure!! ... BUT I LOVE IT!! There are lots of explanations, but, although they all sound great.. I have a deep suspicion that Mother Nature has her wonderful smug smile on right now knowing exactly why these leaves change!!! I just enjoy!!!!!! Used Redfield’s Fractalius to bring out more of the dance of color in these show-offs!!!
