Another fractal design from me created back in 2006, finally finished re-editing this art work. Looks so cool just staring at it.. originally this was supposed to be an under water fractal design I wasn’t sure either to stick with that or this so oh well. There you have it.

“The Atlas Of Dreams” is an ongoing project started in 1999. Each ‘plate’ is composed of several different images combined to create something greater than the sum of its parts. Source images include historic engravings, NASA photos of space and the Earth’s surface, abstract images, the artwork of my father: Gus Maier, and of course my own artwork – recycled and reused. Watch out for stray butterflies, fish, snakes, and other animals… Color Plate 58 combines a photograph from stock.xchng member Kym McLeod with a ‘blow art painting’ created by my father, Gus Maier. The frame is derived from one of my friend Brad Hitz’s Deterioration series of darkroom paintings.

It combines a photograph from stock.xchng member Alla Leitus with a “melted wax painting” created by my father, Gus Maier. The frogs are taken from The Complete Encyclopedia Of Illustration by J.G. Heck.

Oh boy here I go back to fractals again, this one made with Apophysis/photoshop/Irfanview. Nuff said.

This is one is one of my rares that I design and do not post, this one was sold at Claries to a manager there and then later an assistant manager I met up with, this was around Oct . ‘07. I used a wire script to design this at the time I used to design alot of wire fractals. So this was one of the coolest ones I sold the most of to the ladies. Also had designed alot of egyptian designs back in the day. Copyrighted J.Mclean 2007 Apophysis 3D Hack CS3 updated w framed included.
