The many ducks and geese at the Crystral Springs Rhodendron Gardens in Southeast Portland.
A beautiful digital painting of proud hunting dogs with their catch. A wonderful image for a man’s room or den.

All rights reserved Beautiful Art and Greeting Cards For Sale ~ Shop securely and view my collection here Birds are the only animals with feathers. All birds have feathers and most birds can fly. It is the possession of feathers and not the ability to fly which distinguishes birds from all other animals. This Macaw with a stunning colour combination is relatively easy to breed in captivity, and the captive population is many times larger than the wild population. Individuals are kept in several zoos and private homes around the world. The fantastically colourful Blue and Yellow Macaw is a popular pet mostly because of its striking appearance and ability as a talking bird. They are very intelligent and social birds. They breed in the forest and woodlands of tropical South America. Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi

Ducks at Kinghorn Loch, viewed from the waterfront of Craigencalt Farm, Kinghorn, Fife. 1st July 2009, about 12:20 BST. (You may notice twin cylinders at the further waterside, which support a submerged net filled with straw. Such rafts are placed around the Loch at various places, and when I asked why, I’ve been told this serves to keep the water healthy.)
this is a line drawing i made of a barn owl. / 5×7 inches. indian ink.
A Bald Eagle
This oil painting depicts a vase of flowers with birds looking on!
Mother duck and her ducklings. Digital painting with smear technique. I love this one, wonderful coloring.
Animals often exhibit such human-like behavior. Is this mother hen praising her chicks, or are they getting a scolding? You decide!
Several ducks were out for a swim on an early autumn morning at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada
This image of Cedar Creek Lake was taken on a very wet day, in which the fog and the mist never did lift. However, the ducks did not seem to mind at all.
it was a very bright day at the pier..it was either crop or throw away. Later most of them were tossed, too, but this one i haven’t been able to let go of.
Olympus E-620 Michigan
Olympus E series camera. From the looks of the wing feathers, i would say she is still young. I chose to post this one for the late afternoon lighting. She lives near the Muskegon Channel – leads into Lake Michigan in West Michigan.
Protected by law, this is a common sight in my Palm Beach Gardens community.
2010 Jan 1st. Should it be an omen that for the first time in 44 years that the bay I live by has iced over? The waves creak and grind against the shore where once the water splashed and trickled. Forever more my memories go to that first day of the year.
He had such a bow wave in front of him because he was ‘charging’ towards another swan who got to close.
While photographing the pond below, a noise in the tree above me caught my attention….Lesson learned, always look up!
